Question

Why can't QBOA firms transfer their accounts to a client account so they can file Annual Accounts and CT600 to HMRC and Companies House?

This is a major limitation. I can generate an Annual Accounts iXBRL file, but I can't transfer this to a client account for filing. I can manually start a return in ProTax for the Corp Tax but it won't let me upload the required Annual Accounts iXBRL. It's madness!

I understand how overwhelming it is to experience limitations when trying to transfer your files. Currently, there's no option to transfer a generated annual accounts iXBRL document into a client account. ProTax/Workpapers is built to prepare the annual accounts and CT600 together within QuickBooks Online Accountant. For now, you can prepare and complete the return within that same Workpapers session.
