Question

1. On the journal entry report what does the four digit numbers dividing each entry mean?? (left side above date). Each journal entry has its own journal # already??

The four-digit numbers that separate each entry on the journal entry report represent a Transaction ID. This is a unique identifier generated internally by QuickBooks for every transaction recorded in the system, Reba.

The Transaction ID serves as a system-assigned "fingerprint" for each transaction, regardless of its type. It helps QuickBooks organize and track all transactions within the system effectively.
