I am trying to process 1099s and it keeps getting stuck on the payment page!

For now, let’s try some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Sometimes, an overloaded browser can cause problems while working in QuickBooks Online (QBO), which might explain the error you’re experiencing. To check if the issue is browser-related, try refreshing your browser by clicking the refresh button.

 

You can also open your account in incognito mode to further test if the problem is browser-related. Here are the shortcuts for opening incognito mode:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

If the issue persists, try switching to another supported browser.

I get to the the final page where there is the purchase and efile button  and nothing happens when I click on it!

Since the page is unresponsive,  let’s try a couple of quick fixes to help clear out any temporary glitches.
 

  1. Refresh your browser.
  2. Log in and back in.
     

If it’s still not working, please reach out to our Live Support team to assist you immediately through a screen-sharing session.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. On your screen, select (?) Help icon at the top.
  2. Choose one of the following options to get help: For the Assistant tab: Type Talk to an expert. For the Search tab: Select Contact Us and follow the prompts.
     

Support hours:
 

  • Monday–Friday: 6 AM–6 PM PT
  • Saturday: 6 AM–3-PM PT
  • Sunday: closed
     

For QuickBooks Advanced users, extended hours apply:
 

  • Monday–Friday: 6 AM–7 PM PT
  • Saturday–Sunday: 6 AM–3 PM PT

I get to the final page where it says pay and efile and nothing happens when I click on the button

It finally worked after I switched browsers. I was using Duck Duck Go originally. When I switched to Chrome, it went through.
