Question

Anybody know how to copy an invoice in the new format. I am so so unbelievably frustrated with all the changes that have been made in the past 6 months.

Good morning, @jweissfinance

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I hate to hear that this process of learning the new invoice layout has been frustrating for you and your business.

I'd be more than happy to show you how to copy an invoice within the new layout. Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales then select All sales (Take me there) or Invoices (Take me there).
  2. Find the invoice or estimate you want to copy and hit Edit.
  3. Tap Manage to open the settings panel.
  4. In the Action box, press the dropdown ▼, then choose Make a copy.
  5. Edit the invoice or estimate as needed, then click Save.

If the customer needs the same invoice regularly, you can set up recurring transactions instead. Also, you can create the same invoice for multiple customers if need be.

I hope this helps! Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions. Bye for now!
