Allow me to share on how to match cash deposits and journal entries in the list of sales, @teecpa60

Yes, it's possible to match cash payments made through journal entries (JE) or deposits against invoices in QuickBooks Online. However, it's important to tag these JEs and cash deposits as Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions so you can apply or match them to the invoices.

To match a payment with an invoice, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Invoice.
  2. Click on Receive Payment
  3. Look for a journal entry or deposit that has Account Receivable.

I've included an article on how to send reminders to customers when invoices are overdue: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online.

I'm available to assist you with any questions you may have about categorizing these transactions. Don't hesitate to reach out to me at any time.
