Do all versions of QBO have balance sheet reports?

I have the basic version of QBO and I don't see a balance sheet report or a P&L

Yes, all versions of QuickBooks Online (QBO) include basic financial reports, including the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit and Loss Report (P&L).

To locate and view these reports in your account, follow these steps:

Log in to your QBO account.
Go to the Reports menu on the left-hand panel.
In the Standard Reports section, use the search bar located at the top to type in Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss.
Select the report you want to view, then customize it as needed.

If your running a nonprofit organization, these report appear under different names: Balance Sheet is Statement of Financial Position, and Profit & Loss is Statement of Activities.

It appears that your business type is set to Nonprofit organization, smeeder.

Since your organization is classified as a Nonprofit (Form 990) in the settings, the names of your reports will differ accordingly. The Profit and Loss report will be referred to as the Statement of Activity, while the Balance Sheet will be known as the Statement of Financial Position.
