There are several reasons why you're unable to reconcile your bank statement after May 31, 2025 due to potential discrepancies in your QuickBooks records, Damonplace.

Common causes include an incorrect beginning balance carried over from the previous month, missing or duplicate transactions, or transactions entered in QuickBooks that have not yet cleared your bank.

QuickBooks uses the previous month's ending balance as the starting point for the next reconciliation. If this beginning balance is incorrect, it will prevent successful reconciliation for the current period.

To resolve this, we have to verify that the beginning balance for June 2025 in QuickBooks matches your bank statement. If the amount doesn’t match, it indicates that a transaction reconciled in or before May 2025 was edited or deleted.

You can identify these discrepancies by running a Reconciliation Discrepancy Report in QuickBooks, which lists any transactions changed after a reconciliation was completed.
