Let me share some troubleshooting steps to fix the T that shows in your invoices, GM60.

Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This might be the reason why you're seeing a letter T next to the total of your line item even if the tax box is unchecked.

To check, we can run some basic troubleshooting steps to determine the issue. Let's start by accessing your account in a private window. This is also known as incognito which doesn't record your browsing activity.

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

If it works, clear the browser's cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. You may also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

Also, we have received reports of similar cases where a "T" appears on each line item of the invoice. I suggest reaching out to our support team so they can include you in the list of affected users. To reach them, follow the steps in this article: QuickBooks Online Support.

I have some articles that you can use to learn more about sales tax and how to customize your sales forms in QuickBooks:

Please keep me posted if you have any other concerns when creating your transactions in QuickBooks. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you.

@JoesemM

Yes, always be sure to blame the browser for QuickBooks' bugs.
