Hi I changed to mtd this year from the other quickbooks now I need my info from last April onwards to now but its not there I need it for my tax return 25/26

Your historical data won't transfer automatically. The new MTD account only contains information from the date you started using it. If you still have access to your old QuickBooks account, you can log in and export your reports, such as the Profit & Loss statement and your transaction list, for the period from April 2025 onward. Save these reports as CSV or PDF files for your tax return records.

If you have upgraded from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QBO Sole Trader Plus, we cannot access your previous subscription. In this case, I recommend contacting our Intuit Expert team, as they have tools that can help you retrieve your tax data.
