Yes, you can customize your QuickBooks Online dashboard. Go to your dashboard and select Customize layout. From there you can add or remove widgets, drag them to reorder, and resize the ones that support it.

Changing the time period on dashboard graphs
Most dashboard graph widgets, like sales and expenses, let you pick a period from a dropdown inside the widget, such as last 30 days, last month, this year, or last year. On QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus, the sales graph runs on a rolling 12 month view, and the dashboard itself doesn't offer a longer built-in range like 5 years.
If you need a longer view or want to control exactly which accounts feed into it, run the report from Reports instead of the dashboard widget. From there you can set a custom date range and compare periods against each other. See Compare time periods in reports for how comparisons work.
More dashboard control with QuickBooks Online Advanced or Intuit Enterprise Suite

If a customize option is missing for one of your companies
New dashboard features sometimes roll out to accounts in stages, so it's possible to see a Customize layout or beta option on one company and not another for a while. If it's still missing after some time, try signing out and back in, or check with QuickBooks support to confirm your company has the update.
