If the vehicle is classified as a non-primary vehicle, you can mark it as inactive to keep your records organized. I'll walk you through the process to achieve this, Immanuel.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), there's no option to delete a vehicle entirely, but marking it inactive will effectively remove it from your list of active vehicles. As long as you don’t track any expenses related to that vehicle, it won’t affect your financial reports at all.
Here’s how to mark a vehicle as inactive:
1. Access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. 2. Go to Miles. 3. Click the drop-down arrowbeside Add trip. 4. Select Manage vehicle. 5. Choose the vehicle, then click Vehicle no longer in use.
