how do i make classic view the default?

I don't like the modern view and get tired of having to change to classic view.

    QuickBooks updates the view for a better and more convenient experience, darwinans6. While switching to Classic View as the default interface is unavailable, you can suggest the features you like most about it to our developers.

     

    Although transitioning to the Modern View can be overwhelming, it enhances the platform to ensure that we can deliver the new features and reliability. In this case, I recommend submitting a request for the features you enjoy about the Classic View, which our engineers may potentially incorporate into the new view.

     

    Follow the steps below:

     

    1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
    2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
    3. Share your suggestion, then click Next.

    Next, you'll want to memorize your customization settings by saving a customized report in Quickbooks Online.

    People have been asking for this for over two years in dozens of posts with many upvotes: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-search?document_type=Community&filter=location&q=classic%20view%20default

     

    So you have plenty of feedback that this is a desired feature. Can you implement, or at least provide some transparency on if/when this will be added?

      @gregono1 Yes, this is the question.

       

      @JamaicaA we are aware of the Feedback feature and have been using it since 2024 to get the Classic View back as the default. However this feature is useless if we are not provided updates that our feedback has been received at all or when we can expect to see it implemented.

       

      So, now all we need to know is where do we see updates from Quickbooks about when/if they will be bringing this heavily requested feature back?

        me too, its awful and a PITA to have to constantly change it
