We're unable to add signatures on the check, dcrile. I acknowledge your need for this functionality, and I'm here to provide suggestions that you may consider so you can achieve your goal.
I can see how useful to have the print signatures on your check. While this option is unavailable, I'd encourage you to relay your feature request directly to our software developers. This way, they can evaluate your suggestion and possibly take it into account for further product advancements.
Here's how:
Go to the Gear icon at the upper right corner of the QuickBooks page.
In the meantime, you may consider looking for a third-party app. QuickBooks supports thousands of various third-party applications for any functionality you may need. However, we're unable to recommend which app to use. You can check our Intuit App Center and type a keyword in the search box.
You can also go to the Apps menu from your QuickBooks Online account. Follow these steps:
On the left panel, click Apps.
Go to the Find Apps tab.
Use the search bar to look for an app.
Then, pick the app you wish from the list. You may also have the option to browse through feedback provided by other users to decide which app suits your requirements.

I find it lame that you understand how useful this would be, so much so that QuickBooks Desktop has had this capability for at about 15 years, and yet QuickBooks Online still doesn't have it.
Online is missing so many features that Desktop has it would probably take a month or more working full time to create a reasonably-complete list. And yet Intuit is trying to push their (relatively happy) Desktop users to Online, which is a woefully inadequate "replacement". A huge downgrade. It is almost like Intuit is trying to fail as a company.
