How do I remove the payment link from my invoices?

The customer I send invoices had an automated system that does not accept payment links.

Thanks for turning to the Community for assistance, @userkhanlon325. I'll be your guide today on disabling the payment option for invoices.

Here's how:

Go to the Settings menu (gear icon).
Click Accounts and Settings.
Move over to the Sales menu and click the Pencil icon for Invoice payments.
In the Payment options section, uncheck the box for Accept Credit Cards.
Select Save and Done to keep the changes.

I need to do this but don't want email invoice as plain text, I want to add a payment link instead, please advise.

Thank you for posting to the Community, accounts-2upc.

I can share a way how you can add a payment link to your email when invoicing in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you have QuickBooks Payments, we can connect this to your company file. This way, you can send a payment link in an invoice. You’ll want to check out this article to sign up or connect an existing QuickBooks Payments account.

Once done, you can then set up your account so your customers can pay their invoices online:

Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
Navigate to the Sales tab.
Select Edit under the invoice payments. Then, choose the payment options you want for the invoice.
Afterwards, select Save and Done.
