Hello, Beth. Thank you for reaching out. We can customize the report period and filter it to display the columns of your Balance Sheet by month.

  1. Navigate to Reports, then Standard reports.
  2. Enter Balance Sheet in the search field.
  3. Set the Report period to This Year-to-date.
  4. In the Display Columns by, select Months.
  5. Optionally, apply other Filters to narrow down the data that will show in your report.
  6. Once finalized, press Run Report.

You can also save the current report settings so you won’t have to go through the customization process again if you need the same information in the future.

To enhance your experience with QuickBooks, our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted team is available to offer guidance on best practices for managing transactions and reporting.

This will ensure that you accurately capture how your assets, liabilities, and equity fluctuate over time. Take care.
