How do I stop the "get paid faster" ad from interrupting invoicing and payments in QuickBooks Online?

Every time I enter a payment, I get a pretty useless ad to 'get my money faster'. It is tripling the time I spend with my invoices and giving me lots of time to consider alternatives to QBO.
Any suggestions?

QuickBooks Online doesn't have a setting that turns off this kind of promotional message, but here's how to keep it from slowing down your invoicing routine.

Step 1: Dismiss it as part of your flow

When the message appears after entering a payment, select the X or No, thanks option to close it. It won't remove every future promotional message, but it clears that one so you can move to the next invoice.

Step 2: Ask the product team to fix the workflow interruption

If a message is repeatedly breaking up a task you do often, like entering payments back to back, that's exactly the kind of detail worth putting in front of the team that decides what gets built next.

  1. Go to Settings (the gear icon).
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Describe the specific workflow it's interrupting, for example entering payments and moving to the next customer.
  4. Select Next to submit.

Flagging the exact workflow it's slowing down gives the product team something concrete to act on.

I can see how these ads disrupt your focus while working on your business tasks, @circulation. I'm happy to discuss the steps for turning off advertisements in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start off, the pop-up notifications and ads are meant to provide suggestions and tips for enhancing your QuickBooks experience. However, a built-in feature to turn off pop-up ads is unavailable in the QBO settings in the current update. As an alternative, you can close them manually by clicking the X or No thanks button to dismiss them.

In the meantime, I suggest checking out our blog to stay updated on the latest improvements, features, and news about QuickBooks Online: The QuickBooks Blog.

Additionally, you can refer to this article for more insights on managing your business with QBO: Help articles for QuickBooks Online. It covers various topics such as banking, advanced accounting, and payments, among others.

If you have any further questions or encounter challenges with other concerns in QuickBooks Online, please feel free to reach out. I'm here to help. Have a productive day!

Last week I could open an invoice, enter the payment, Save and Close, Select new customer, Repeat.

This week I open an invoice, enter the payment, Save and Close, click the useless x for the ad, Select customers, enter the customer name, select invoice, enter payment, Save and Close, click the X...

Not sure how this is enhancing my user experience?

I'm actively looking for a QBO alternative.
