Question

How do you text an estimate to a customer?

I can email the estimate, but would like to be able to text it instead. Thank you!

Hello there, @arborist-downtor.

 

Currently, there isn't an option to text an estimate to a customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, you can find and integrate a third-party application that can directly send the form to your customers using text messages or SMS as an alternative. To do this, I'd recommend visiting the QuickBooks App Center and search for the one that suits your business needs.

We don't recommend what specific third-party application you'll need to use. However, QuickBooks displays the list of applications available that matches the description you entered. Once you find the right app, click to open it. Please visit our Apps page through your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. From the left pane, click on Apps.
  3. Search for apps in the search box.
