If the payment has been received, the system will automatically mark the invoice as paid. To remove the stamp, we'll have to unlink or delete the payment from the invoice. Follow these steps:
Go to theSalesmenu.
Head to theAll Salestab, and open the appropriate invoice payment.
Uncheck the associated invoice or clickClear payment.
HitSave and close, then hitYes.
Please know that directly removing the stamp on a paid invoice without unlinking the payment is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I suggest submitting a feature request to our Product Development Team for consideration in future updates. Here's how:
