How to remove unexpected tax line on my invoices

I can not save my invoices due to a "unexpected Tax Line Found. Unable to save transaction" How can I get rid of it. I charge tax by the city and it is correct but I can not invoice any of my customers due to the same messege.

An excessive browser load can lead to issues with website loading and formatting, such as missing images or unresponsive buttons. This can also result in errors when attempting to perform tasks in QuickBooks.
 
We can attempt to use a private browsing window to check if the option works. If it does, you can then proceed to clear your regular browser's cache.
 

Here are the shortcuts to incognito browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: press Shift + CTRL + P

 

Furthermore, the cache can interfere with and affects the functionality of QuickBooks and result in missing tabs and features, thus, clearing the cache to lessen issues that arise when using QuickBooks.
