I am reconciling my operating account with a downloaded statement, and QBO is not seeing deposits that are on the statement. Any help?

I know some possible reasons as to why this is happening while you're reconciling your accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Lilly. 

There are three possibilities as to why this is happening on your end. These are: 

• The transaction was part of the previous reconciliation or it's already reconciled.
• It was not yet categorized in the Bank Transactions tab. 
• The date of this transaction is incorrect or wasn't covered by the Ending date of the reconciliation.

Thus, be sure to review your Bank transaction to see if the said deposit is already categorized.

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Transactions column located in the left navigation panel and click the Bank transactions. 
2. Press the For Review tab and see if there's any deposit transaction. 
3. Tick that and press Accept. You can now see this in the Categorized tab.

After reconciling, you can view a reconciliation report to see if you have trouble reconciling the following month and when you meet with your accountant.
