Ensure that the original paycheck was not rejected. If the paycheck wasn't rejected, you can submit a reversal request between the third and fifth business days after the paycheck date. If the paycheck is rejected, a reversal is unnecessary, as the funds will automatically return to your bank account.
Once you’ve submitted the reversal request, you can proceed to update your employee’s account number.

Navigate to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
Select the employee's name.
Scroll down and click the Payment method.
Verify the employee’s bank details. If you need to update them, click Edit under How do you want to pay?, then enter the correct bank details.
