Question

I was paid from a client yesterday and it stilll hasn’t hit my account. Is there a reason for the delay?

Let's ensure your customer's payment will be reflected in your account, Mike.

If this is your first time receiving a payment, it will take five business days before it will reflect on your account because QuickBooks is still processing your profile. Once done, your payments will deposit quicker, typically within two business days.

Once you notice a recent payment you accepted is on hold, you can check out this article to find out why: Funds on hold.

Additionally, I've added this article to help you learn how to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Moreover, you can utilize the Merchant Service Center to find transactions, deposits, or fees.

I'll be around if you have further queries about the delay or any QuickBooks-related concerns. Keep safe.
