Is it possible to retrieve a unfinished general journal entry. My computer timed out?

The option to retrieve the unfinished Journal Entry is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Pat48.If you have logged out automatically, you need to create it again.

If you have already saved the unfinished task, you can find it through the Audit Log history. Setting the appropriate date range to view your entries. This way, you can edit or complete your journal entry as needed.

To prevent losing unfinished journal entries due to timeouts, you can save your work frequently by clicking the Save button on the Journal Entry screen. This reduces the risk of losing data in case of unexpected interruptions.

 

Also, you can use the timeout feature in QBO for your security: Change time duration.
