I am here to share some information about payment processors in paying invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
QuickBooks Payments is a payment processing service that allows you to receive payments from your customers quickly and easily. If you are already using an external payment processor such as Square, we have apps available that can sync your data with QuickBooks Online. However, if you want the most streamlined and efficient way to process payments and track your accounting, QuickBooks Payments is the way to go.
Your customers can pay for their invoices online with a credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH bank transfer. You can also manually process payments in person or over the phone.
If you want to use Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, or other payment plans processors, you can use a third-party app to connect these processors in QBO.
Here's how:
From the left menu, click Apps.
Select the Find Apps tab.
Enter a brief description of the feature in the Search for an App box.
If there's a list of selections, choose the app you want to integrate, then click Get the app now to connect.
I followed these steps and still do not see these payment plan options, so they can how on my invoices. How can this be fixed? I would like affirm, afterpay etc to be available
You can use a third-party app outside our QuickBooks Online (QBO) program to achieve your goal, @Drbrandyfnpc. Let me expand on this.
First, QuickBooks supports QB Payments, which accept payments like PayPal, Venmo, credit cards, or ACH bank transfers. In your case, we appreciate your efforts to find the app you want within our QBO third-party app program. It appears that the apps you're looking for are not available on our end. Therefore, I recommend searching for a third-party solution outside the QBO program to achieve what you want.
You can send invoices as usual from QBO. When your client prefer to pay the invoice with Afterpay or Affirm, you will generate a separate invoice manually. Then you can use a 3rd party connector to reconcile the payments into your QBO account.
