Quickbooks Online P&L Out of Order

I have been trying for months to get my P&L to give me a report in order.  My COA is clearly numbered and in order.  If I run the report in Classic View, I have no issues, but this new report is constantly out of order.  For example, Payroll taxes (6999) shows up before Salaries ((6901).  What am I doing wrong and when will this be fixed?

In the meantime, since the Classic View is currently reflecting your data accurately, please continue using it for your immediate reporting needs. To resolve the ordering issue in the new view, I recommend reaching out to our Live Support team. They have the tools needed to investigate why your P&L reports aren't appearing in the correct sequence.

  1. Go to the Help icon, then select the Assistance tab.
  2. In the box provided, briefly describe your issue or type Contact Support.
  3. Choose either Chat or Callback for help.
