Reset data/start fresh with transactions and expenses

Are you trying to delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, you can do this if you're a new customer in QBO. Please know that if you've used QBO for a while, you must create a new company.

Before anything else, I'll provide some steps to back up your data through exporting in case you need those data to your QBO account.

1. Go to Settings ⚙.
2. Select Export data.
3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
5. Select Export to Excel.

Then, you can now start over in QBO and make sure that you've signed in to QBO as an admin. Be informed that your next steps depend on your subscription level, and whether you've been using QuickBooks for longer than 60 days and you can purge your data without starting a new company if your books are 30 days old.
