Should QBO custom reports be able to create the same report that QB Enterprise did?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) custom reports typically cannot generate the same reports as QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. While both versions offer strong reporting tools, they vary in features, flexibility, and design.
 
In QBO, you can generate a Transaction List by Customer report and customize it to include columns for the Bill To and Ship To states. Once customized, you can save this as a custom report for future use.
 
Here's how:
 

1. In the Reports page, search for the Transaction list by Customer.
2. In the upper right corner, click Columns.
3. Select the boxes for Bill To and Ship To to display in the report.
   
4. Use the Filter option to refine the data included in the report.
5. Once done, click Save As, enter the desired report name, and click Save.
