Tags Discontinued and Changed to Custom Fields
Custom fields is absolutely worthless. Can't produce reports with them, can't include the fields in payroll or journal entries, etc... Why would QuickBooks take away a marginally useful method of tracking certain grants and projects and take it away, force your customers to manually change each and every transaction with a "Tag" assigned item and then give the user absolutely no way to easily produce a useful report? And, to make it really frustrating, you have left us with no way to produce a "Tag" report of historical items. Class is useful for departments but cumbersome to track grants at best. Why??????????????
