Why can I only go back so far in my invoices. I need to find something from 3 yrs ago. How do I find all my old invoices?

I can help you find old invoices, bynack23. Thus, you can review past transactions quickly.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) recently updated options and filter buttons for up to 2 years backward, limiting your ability to search older invoices. However, we can run the Transaction List by Customer report. Then, customize the date to show your old transactions.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. In the search bar, type Transaction List by Customer.
3. Click the Report period drop-down arrow, then choose All Dates or Custom.
4. Enter the date of the transactions you want to run.
5. Hit the Customize button.
6. Select the Filter drop-down arrow.
7. Put a checkmark beside Transaction Type, then choose Invoice from the drop-down arrow.
8. Filter the necessary fields and hit Run report.
