A customer just asked if I accept direct debit - they provide me with their banking and I accept this payment every month. Is this something I can do through QuickBooks?

In QuickBooks, bank transfers can only be offered as a payment option on invoices, allowing your customers to initiate payments themselves. Even if a customer provides their bank details directly to you, QuickBooks does not allow you to enter this information manually or process a direct debit. The payment must always be initiated by the customer from their own end.

With this, you also can't process recurring payments since you have no option to enter bank details on your end.
