Any chance you can fix the Terms on your invoice template....when you initially create an invoice the Terms come up Due on Receipt, but the due date does not correspond.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. Making sure you have the invoice terms you need is important. QuickBooks Online gives you the option to  edit the terms on your invoices. Let me show you how!

1. Head to the Gear icon.

2. Select Account and Settings. 

3. Click the Sales tab. 

4. Next to Sales form content, click the small Pencil icon. 

5. Click the drop-down menu next to Preferred invoice terms, and choose the term you'd like. If you don't see a term that suits your needs, you can select Add new and create your own terms.

6. Click Save. 

Note: You can also add a new term from the invoice itself, by clicking on the drop down arrow beside Terms within the invoice.

Thank you for telling me I can go to the gear icon to change my preferred method of payment terms....but that is not the issue.  When I select Due on Receipt....the due date does not show up as Today (the date I issue the Invoice/Date the invoice)....the program is incorrect...if I select due on receipt, then then due date should default to the day I issue/date the invoice, not a date a month or a week or the month end.
