If you connect an account to online banking, QuickBooks downloads your recent transactions automatically. There's two ways to remove an account from QuickBooks Online: disconnecting from the Bank Feed, and deleting the account from the Chart of Accounts.
To disconnect an account from the Bank Feed, follow these steps:
1. From the left navigation menu, select Banking.
2. In the Account window, select Disconnect this account on save.
2. Select Save and close.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
1. Click Accounting icon on the left navigation menu and choose Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account you want to delete in the list.
3. In the Action drop-down, select Make inactive.
4. Select Yes to confirm.
