The new Receipts tab in QBO is an awesome tool that will make it so much easier to create bills and expenses. With the ability to upload and scan your receipts from the mobile app, your computer, and your email, you'll always have a handy method to get your paper copies into QuickBooks Online. I'll explain how you can manage receipts in QBO whether you upload them from the app, your laptop, or through emails.
No matter which method you select to upload and scan receipts, they will all end up in the same place in QBO. After you select the Banking menu or Transactions menu, you’ll see the Receipts tab. This is where you can manage and match your expense receipts and bills all in one place.
Once your receipts and bills are in QuickBooks, they show up in the For Review tab in the Receipts tab. From here you can select the row to have a side-by-side view of the receipt you sent and the data we extracted.
I hope this helps get you back to business. If you have any other questions, or if I've missed the mark in my response, please don't hesitate to reach out to our tech support team for further assistance.
Have a great day!
