How do you write off time in the unbilled section of invoicing

it's vital that all your transactions be entered correctly so that your customer balances. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of hours for payroll purposes as well as bill them to your customers. I can point you in the right direction for assistance in writing off hours.

In order to know how you should be writing off the amounts that you were going to bill to a customer, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. They'll be able to show you the best way to make an entry to balance your books and remove this transaction from your customer balance. If you'd like to add your accountant to your books, you can do so in the My Accountant tab.
