How to invoice an American client?

Thanks for reaching out about invoicing in another currency. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices to your customers so they know the amount owed to you for your services.

To accomplish this, if you have QuickBooks Essentials, Plus, or Advanced, you can use the multicurrency feature to assist. You'll first need to turn on Multicurrency, then create a customer with the USD set as their currency. You can find steps on how to do both tasks in this article. Once done, when you create invoices for this customer, they will automatically be set to USD.
