How to record a partial return from an invoice?

Welcome to the QuickBooks community! I can help you with this so you can record the partial refund of a payment received on an invoice.

In QuickBooks Online, recording refunds and even partial refunds is easy. It's just a few simple steps.

1. Click the Plus + icon in the top right of the account.
2. Select the customer from the drop-down.
3. Select the product or service that's being refunded.
4. Enter the amount of the refund.
5. Fill out any other necessary fields as needed.
