We periodically review payments you accept through QuickBooks Payments to keep everything secure. We usually complete this review within 2 business days. After that, your bank might take another 1 to 2 business days to settle the funds into your account.

 

Since the total time can take up to 4 business days, your 48-hour wait is still within the standard processing window.

 

You can check the exact status of your funds at any time using the QuickBooks Digital Assistant.

 

If 4 business days pass and you still don't have your funds, the payment might be on hold. You can resolve this by following these steps:

 

  1. Check your email for a hold notification, which includes instructions and a link to the Resolution Centre.
  2. Log in to the Resolution Centre with your QuickBooks credentials to track your case status, chat with an expert, and securely upload any requested documents.
  3. Verify that your direct deposit account information is accurate and up to date in your settings.
