Additionally, you may wish to consider reaching out to your accountant to ensure your books are recorded correctly.
Thank you, I did change the payment date already to a more current date (July 11) but the payment has not actually processed yet. It came off the receivables as if it is paid, but the money is not actually processing to my bank account?
Making sure your payments are processed into your account is imperative to any business. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for this.
QuickBooks Payments add on makes receiving your customers payments simple by either letting them pay through the invoice email or processing it manually on your end. Just so we're on the same page changing the payment date doesn't affect how fast the payment is processed. In order to see how far along the payment process is I recommend reaching out to our support team. They'd be able to pull up your account and check to see if the payment has been processed yet in a secure environment to keep your account information safe.
You can reach out to our support team by one of the following methods.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.
Have a great day!
