Question

Imported a custom Sales Receipt into Quickbooks online. All works well. How do I get the same Sales Receipt into Quickbooks Mobile?

Hi brian-corecontra,

 

Congrats on your first post in the Community. It's essential you're able to import and manage Sales Receipts in QuickBooks and I'll be glad to share more info. 

 

It's good you've imported your custom Sales Receipts using the web-browser. While this function isn't available on the mobile version, you can still access and use your imported custom templates in the mobile version. In case you're not seeing custom templates in the mobile version, I troubleshooting the mobile app by uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. I also suggest making sure that the custom template in question is also showing on the web-browser.

After reinstalled the mobile app, my INVOICE template correctly shows the custom template defined in the browser version since, on the browser version, I defined that template as the "default"; however, on the mobile version, a SALES RECEIPT is still using a generic template, not the imported custom SALES RECEIPT from the browser version. Also on the mobile version, there isn't a way to select a template.

Thank you for trying to delete the app and installing it once more. For further assistance with sales receipt templates not appearing correctly when creating them on the mobile app, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the way your form styles are set up in order to help you get the sales receipt with the correct template when created from the app. You can reach them using these methods:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
