Is it possible to put a formula in column of an invoice?

Thanks for reaching out about entering invoices. QuickBooks online is a great tool able to assist you with creating and sending invoices, all while having them entered in your books. I can provide some information about invoice creation.

There isn't the option to add formulas to help calculate for quantities. The calculation would need to be done outside of QuickBooks and the total entered. I can see that this would be a feature that you'd like to see to be able to assist with creating invoices. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear Icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when designing new features for the software.
