Making sure that sales tax is being applied to invoices is important for every business. QuickBooks Self-employed is a great tool to help you generate invoices so that you can bill your client for your services. I can help you get back to having taxes show up on your invoices.
One cause for taxes not showing up on your invoices would be browsing data accumulated in your system. Temporary files such as cache and cookies can build up in your app or browser and cause the tax to not show up on invoices. Here are some steps to resolve any issues caused by browsing data:
Reset your Internet or try on another computer or device
Uninstall and reinstall the app if using QuickBooks on a mobile device
If the error persists after trying these steps, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Self-Employed support team by chat. They'll be able to do some further troubleshooting with you as well as notify the engineers if necessary. You can contact them by navigating to the Assistant feature, and typing Talk to human.
