What does refresh data mean and how do I??????

Good day, @jamesmcauley4. I’m glad to discuss what “Refresh data” means and how to perform it in QuickBooks Online.

Refresh data is a way of reloading or updating what is being displayed or stored. It cleans out all the stored files, forcing the app or browser to re-download the latest information or new page from the server. This is the top most recommended solution to fix data issues found on your system.

If you’re using the QuickBooks Online app, here’s how to do it on different mobile operating systems.

For Android:

1. Open your QuickBooks app.
2. Select the Gear icon on your left top.
3. Click Refresh Data.
4. Tap YES to confirm.

For iOS:

1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
2. Click Refresh Data.
3. Select Refresh.
