This occurs when temporary data errors or cached files interfere with the app, blocking it from saving updates or syncing correctly. Have you noticed any specific error messages when you try to change the receipt date?

To fix this and let you change your receipt date, let's perform some mobile app troubleshooting steps.

For iOS users:

  1. Open your Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage and find the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App.

For Android users:

  1. Go to the Menu or tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap Settings, then choose Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Yes to confirm.

Once completed, you can go ahead and update the date on your uploaded Receipt.

Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns. We'd be glad to help.
