Collecting and remitting the Sales Tax is an important part of managing your business. With QuickBooks Online, you can easily setup Sales Tax so you can include it in the relevant transactions. To do so, follow these steps:
Select Taxes from the left menu
Select Set up sales tax
Select your province or territory
Select Save
Provide the Start of tax period and Filing frequency
Select the Reporting method
Enter your GST/HST number if applicable
Select Next
Select Got it

If you click the menu and nothing happens then it may be due to either your Cache and cookies or the browser you are using. I can help you with this.
Since QuickBooks Online is a web based program it rely's on your browser for it to work properly. One reason your browser could cause issues is your Cache and cookies being corrupted. You can clear them by using the steps in this link. Another thing you can try is using a different browser such as Chrome or Firefox. If you are already using Chrome you can also try incognito mode.
