Adding one sales value to a project isn't available in QuickBooks Online. However, you can add project income, expenses, and labor expenses, add old transactions to new projects, and run project-specific reports from a single dashboard.
Here's how:
1. Turn on projects in QuickBooks Online.
2. Select Settings ⚙. Then select Company Settings.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. Find the Projects section and select Edit ✎ to expand it.
5. Turn on the Use project financial tracking toggle.
