Let me first welcome you here in the Community, abhishek_r.
I'm here to share some details about having multistate GST in QuickBooks Online. As of now, adding a multiple sates GST is unavailable. As a workaround, you'll have to create a separate QuickBooks account for each tax id.
Aside from that, if a transaction to purchase services occurs across multiple states, the tax is based on the location of the recipient of the services. In this situation, the centre levies Inter-state GST. Then, the centre apportions some of the IGST to the state where the recipient is registered. Before assessing GST on your services, you may want to consult with a tax specialist in your area.
For more details about setting up GST, I suggest checking this article: QuickBooks for GST.
Additionally, I've included our GST FAQs article for reference. From there, you'll be able to find answers to your questions that'll help you with GST.
I encourage sharing your concerns with us if you have any. This way, we'll be able to help you out.
