I have a valid Irish domestic VAT number, I do not require intra EU trade. Why does quickbooks keep rejecting my VAT number?

The system will reject a VAT number if it does not match the exact formatting required by QuickBooks Online. Additionally, newly registered VAT numbers often experience a processing delay within the country's tax database before becoming active.
