When i try to do the 'Set up Tax' it doesn't work i get error code: Tax Group requires atleast one purchase or sales rate (code: "INDIRECTTAX-19777")

We'll perform a few troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve browser-related problems to isolate this. We'll begin by opening a private or incognito window and gaining access to your QuickBooks Online account. To open one, use the keyboard shortcut listed below, depending on your browser:

 

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

If you're able to set up your sales tax without any error message, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This procedure will remove outdated or corrupted internet files that may be causing issues while browsing.

 

Alternatively, you can look and use other supported browsers for the best experience while working in QuickBooks Online.
