Why is Making tax digital not an option on Quickbooks online?

The Making Tax Digital option is only available in the QuickBooks Online UK version. If you're using other regions, then this option is currently unavailable. 

If you're company and your QuickBooks Online account is using a UK version, you can enable Making Tax Digital (MTD) and authorise QuickBooks to connect to HMRC. This way, you can submit a VAT return in an MTD-compliant way.
