Can someone tell me if the Sales total showing on the dashboard widget includes HST?

Glad to learn you're using QuickBooks to streamline your work. The Dashboard is designed to give you an accurate snapshot view of how your business is doing. I'll be glad to share more information on this so you can get back to doing what you enjoy. 

The amounts on your Sales graph on the dashboard are based on the sales transactions in your account for the period specified. To answer your question, these amounts include HST. This will not include journal entries posted to your sales accounts and the calculated sales taxes.
